This Convalescent Care Center, designed for Rex Healthcare, was the first of several buildings on a twelve-acre site.  The facility will serve eighty-seven general convalescent care patients and twenty Alzheimer's patients.

The NC Certificate of Need Capacity was for 107 skilled nursing beds.
