This school, designed in conjunction with Boney Architects, is a prototype middle school for Guilford County Schools.

Hairston Middle School optimizes the concept of team teaching and community building. An open student commons area surrounded by encore classroom spaces and entries to each grade level highlights the design. Each of the three expandable classroom wings was designed to accommodate clustered teaching teams for each grade level.
