The project incorporates six in-patient and eight residential Hospice beds in a freestanding, residential scaled building adjacent to existing Hospice of the Piedmont's administration office. 

The design emphasizes a homelike setting with a balance between privacy and opportunities for social interaction.

The interior design utilizes natural light and residential ambiance without compromising the ability of the caregivers to attend to the needs of the resident.

Each resident room opens directly onto a private patio that is adjacent to garden areas, water feature, and walking paths.
